Their story so far
Thirty-one years in the long consonance with her partner Bo, one of fewer than forty living pairs. They are called out for every flood, every subsidence, every hard frost the rotation cannot hold. The Concordance treats them as invaluable and cannot work out how to pay them.
The crack in them
Cannot stop recommending the thing that cost her everything else, because from inside it there is no way to see the cost as a cost.
How they sound
Husky contralto, warm and entirely unhurried. Occasionally answers a question a half-second before it is finished, and does not notice she has done it.
Their music
Two contralto lines a third apart that never quite separate, and once, briefly, become one line.

Physical Description
Female, average height, weathered and capable. She is entirely at ease in farm clothes and always seems to be watching two people at once. Her hands move slightly before she speaks, as though she were being prompted. Her voice is a warm, husky, unhurried contralto. Sometimes she answers a question half a second before it is finished.
Goal
Keep the water meadows above every flood and hard frost the Rotation can't hold, with Bo, for as long as they both last.

She and Bo are one of fewer than forty living long-consonance pairs. Bo is effectively always her partner present. No one in this world can work magic alone. A Strange Resolution for consonance needs a partner present and in synchrony; without one, the Dealer should rule it impossible rather than call for a Resolution. Two practitioners working together is a natural Group Resolution.
