Helmswoman and bonded crew-liaison of the Skysong
At a glance
Moves like she's still listening to something the rest of the crew can't hear.
Lean, sun-weathered.
Bark-textured calluses along her palms from years of hull-tending; a faint green cast to her eyes in bright light.
Their story so far
Raised in the Sylvan Armada's cultivator lineages, Wren was assigned to the Skysong as a girl -- one of the rare humans (well, Sylvan Kindred) the vessel-rights faction trusts with direct bonding. When the Armada's elders ordered the Skysong recalled for 'cultivation review' -- a polite term for what happened to the last vessel that got too independent -- Wren helped her flee rather than hand her over.
The crack in them
Trusts the ship's instincts over her own -- and over everyone else's.
How they sound
Silvery alto, playful. Type-cast as tricksters, rogues with a conscience, charming thieves.
Their music
Creaking heartwood and windchimes resolving into a single sustained string note.
What they carry
- A cultivator's pruning-knife she has stopped using on anything but rope.
- A pressed leaf from the grove she grew up in.
In their words
The ship doesn't lie.
She chose. That's the end of it.
